We’re thrilled to offer our most popular retreat again! Join us for an afternoon of meditation, delicious food, and community.

$125.00

Nobody will be turned away for a lack of funds. Please reach out to Davinica at davinica@kaneel.me with a cost that feels accessible to you, even if that answer is $0!

This retreat is an opportunity to slow down, settle into our bodies, cultivate curiosity, and open our hearts to everything this season has to offer. Together, we will explore the basic elements of mindfulness meditation, lessons and gifts from nature in the fall-winter transition, and seasonally-inspired topics of abundance, gratitude, and impermanence. This practice will be an opportunity for self-care, deep pause, and centering before we step into the winds of the “holiday season”.

The afternoon will include guided mindfulness meditation, mindful walking, gentle movement, journaling, and space to share in community. To reflect the quiet of the season, a portion of our practice will be in “Noble Silence”. After the guided meditations and period of silence, we’ll indulge in a bountiful cornucopia of a homemade vegetarian meal. Hot tea will be offered throughout the retreat.

We will gather on the ever-generous land at Frith Farm, protected from the elements in a magical greenhouse enveloped by grapevines and heated by the hearth of a wood stove. Thank you to Frith, for so warmly sharing their abundant land for our retreat!

Folks who are new to meditation, experienced, and everyone in between are invited to join. We strongly encourage you to connect with us before the retreat so that we can learn more about you and your hopes for this retreat.

May you continue to relish in the beauty of this season. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Space is incredibly limited and we’re expected to sell out quickly. We will open up a waitlist when tickets are sold out.

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION

  • In late November, the temperature inside the greenhouse will be in the low 50s. Please wear warm layers and appropriate shoes for walking on uneven ground.

  • We’re trying to reduce our waste! Please bring your own reusable plates, utensils, and mugs. If this is a barrier to you, please reach out to Davinica at davinica@kaneel.me and we’ll bring some for you!

  • This event will be held rain or shine. If the event needs to be canceled due to dangerous weather or temperature, you will be informed the day before the event.
